Fulshear's home occupation rules require that businesses not generate traffic, parking demand, or activity beyond what is normal for a residence in the neighborhood.
The Coordinated Development Ordinance treats home occupations as accessory uses that must be invisible to neighbors. Customer or client visits cannot create vehicle trips, deliveries, or on-street parking that is greater than typical residential activity. Commercial deliveries by tractor-trailer or repeated van traffic are not allowed. Any home business that draws consistent walk-in or appointment-based clientele likely exceeds the home occupation standard and would need to relocate to a commercial zone.
Notice of violation, accessory-use revocation, and daily fines for ongoing nuisance traffic or parking impact.
