The City of Dallas Code Chapter 30 limits construction noise; Irving, Garland, Mesquite, and Richardson have similar rules. In unincorporated Dallas County areas (very small footprint), no specific construction equipment noise ordinance applies beyond Texas Penal Code disorderly conduct provisions for unreasonable noise.
No countywide penalty. City ordinances govern; in unincorporated areas, only Texas Penal Code 42.01 disorderly conduct applies as Class C misdemeanor.
