Fulshear restricts construction hours and requires written notice to neighbors within 200 feet before extended or off-hour activity occurs.
Under Fulshear's construction standards in Chapter 8 of the Code of Ordinances, residential daytime construction is generally allowed 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and commercial construction 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Pouring slabs, demolishing structures, or operating commercial or industrial power tools outside the 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. window is prohibited unless the contractor first notifies all residents within a 200-foot radius of the property line at least ten days in advance. Emergency work is exempt. Code Compliance enforces these rules and responds to complaints from affected neighbors.
Working outside permitted hours without 10-day, 200-foot neighbor notification, or operating heavy power tools at restricted times.
