It is a public nuisance to operate sound amplification equipment that can be heard at 100 feet or more from the source vehicle, 100 feet from the property line of the source property, or that exceeds 70 dB(A) (slow meter response) at the neighboring property line. Chapter 94 of the Lake County Code also regulates construction hours and noise. Nuisance complaints handled through Code Enforcement Hearing process.
