Unincorporated San Benito County has no dedicated front-yard RV ordinance, but the zoning code's outdoor-storage rule (Sec. 25.07.015) bars storage in any front or street-side yard, and inoperative or wrecked RVs/trailers fall under the County's abandoned-vehicle abatement provisions in Chapter 17.01.
San Benito County does not publish a single recreational-vehicle parking ordinance for residential lots. Instead, two County Code provisions govern. Section 25.07.015 (Outdoor Storage and Display) of the zoning code states that outdoor storage may not be located within any front or street-side yard, that stacked materials may be no higher than the enclosing fence, wall or gate, and that screening must follow the County's Fences, Walls and Screens standards. A boat, trailer or RV stored in open view in a front yard can therefore be treated as a code-enforcement matter. Separately, Chapter 17.01, Article II treats any wrecked, dismantled or inoperative vehicle - including trailers and RVs - left on private or public property (other than highways) for more than 30 days as a public nuisance subject to abatement. On public streets, an RV left over 72 consecutive hours may be removed under Section 17.02.004 and California Vehicle Code Section 22651(k). Contact the Resource Management Agency Building & Code Enforcement Division to confirm yard and screening rules for a specific zoning district.
Front/street-side-yard storage is enforced by the Building & Code Enforcement Division as a zoning violation; inoperative RVs/trailers left over 30 days on private property are abated as nuisances under Chapter 17.01, Article II; RVs on a public street over 72 hours may be towed under Section 17.02.004.
