Canal Winchester Codified Ordinances Chapter 351 regulates on-street parking following Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4511. Vehicles cannot be parked on any street for more than 48 consecutive hours without being moved. Parking is prohibited within 30 feet of stop signs, 20 feet of crosswalks, 15 feet of fire hydrants, and in front of driveways. During snow emergencies declared by the city, all street parking on designated snow routes must be cleared to allow plowing. Police mark tires of suspected long-term vehicles and issue warnings before towing. Downtown historic district parking is generally unrestricted but limited by available spaces.
