Euless, TX Property Maintenance: Garage Sale Rules (2026)

Euless regulates garage sales, yard sales, and estate sales conducted at residential properties to prevent the operation of unlicensed retail businesses under the guise of occasional sales. A permit must be obtained from City Hall before holding a sale, with the permit covering typically a two or three consecutive day event. A maximum of 3 to 4 permits per address are allowed per calendar year depending on local application rules. Sales must take place on the property owner's residential lot, with merchandise displayed in the driveway, front yard, garage, or carport. Items cannot be placed on public sidewalks, street rights-of-way, or adjacent neighbor property.
