Rogers offers weekly curbside recycling through GFL/Orion (sign up separately; extra fee applies). Accepted: #1/#2 plastic bottles and jugs, aluminum and steel cans, cardboard, and paper. Glass is NOT accepted curbside but can go to the 2300 N. Arkansas St. drop-off center. Rinse containers, keep paper dry, flatten boxes, and keep items loose (no bags).
Rogers provides residential curbside recycling through its sanitation contractor (GFL / Orion Waste Solutions), offered as weekly curbside pickup for single-family homes. Curbside recycling is a separate sign-up with an additional fee beyond trash service; residents enroll by calling 479-878-1384. Accepted curbside materials are plastic bottles and jugs marked #1 or #2, aluminum cans, steel food cans, cardboard, and paper/paperboard. Glass bottles and jars are not accepted in curbside recycling, but they can be taken to the city's main drop-off recycling center at 2300 N. Arkansas St., which is open 24/7 and also accepts plastics, cans, cardboard, paper, and styrofoam packaging. The city asks residents to prepare recyclables properly: rinse bottles, cans, and jars; keep paper and cardboard dry and clean; flatten cardboard boxes; and keep recyclables loose rather than bagged. A separate household hazardous waste and electronics facility operates nearby at 2307 N. Arkansas St. Curbside recycling participation is voluntary (you must opt in and pay the fee), so this is a permissive program rather than a mandate.
Recyclables that are bagged, contaminated, or not on the accepted list (for example glass curbside, or food-soiled paper) may be rejected. Curbside recycling requires a separate paid sign-up; it is not automatic with trash service.
