The plan also coordinates with city climate plans across Minneapolis, Bloomington, Edina, and other Hennepin cities. Residents and businesses can access county energy efficiency rebates, electric vehicle charging support, and climate workforce programs.
The plan itself does not impose fines on residents but guides ordinances and funding decisions that may carry separate compliance requirements.
