Sales must be limited to personal property; reselling new or commercially purchased merchandise converts the activity into an unlicensed retail business subject to home occupation zoning violations under Aurora UDO §146-5 and a sales tax license requirement. Signs are generally allowed on the property where the sale occurs but must comply with local sign codes (Aurora §94-280 prohibits off-premise signs in most ROW locations).
