Sign violations under Chapter 27 (Zoning) carry fines from $100 to $500 per occurrence plus sign removal. Operating without a Reading business privilege license, where the activity crosses the line into a regular business, is enforced by the City Finance Department with back-tax assessments, penalties, and fines.
