Key requirements: (1) operator must reside on premises; (2) occupation must occupy no more than 25% of floor area; (3) no non-resident employees may work on premises; (4) no visible evidence from the street other than permitted signage; (5) no retail sales, manufacturing, or vehicle repair; (6) must not generate traffic, noise, odor, or other nuisance beyond normal residential levels. Certain professions (doctors, lawyers) may have additional allowances. Business license required from Department of Revenue.
