Quakertown, PA Short-Term Rentals: Occupancy Limits (2026)

The Borough of Quakertown has not adopted a stand-alone short-term rental ordinance. Stays under 30 days at a dwelling are regulated as a residential rental dwelling unit under Chapter 11 (Housing) of the codified Borough ordinances, which obligates every landlord to file an annual rental registration form with the Borough, identify the occupants of each unit, and pay the registration/inspection fee in the Borough Fee Schedule. The Borough Code Enforcement Officer is directed to inspect each registered rental dwelling unit at least once every three years to enforce compliance with applicable codes. Maximum occupancy follows the International Property Maintenance Code adopted statewide under the PA Uniform Construction Code (34 Pa.
