Broken Arrow, OK Soliciting & Door-to-Door: No-Knock Registry (2026)

The City of Tulsa operates a free No-Knock / No-Soliciting Registry that residents can join by registering their address with the City Clerk's office online or in person at 175 E. 2nd St. Registered addresses appear on a list distributed monthly to all permitted commercial solicitors; solicitors must consult the list before canvassing. Separately, any resident may post a 'No Soliciting' sign at the property entrance — under TRO §28-55, posted signs create legal notice, and commercial solicitors who knock despite a visible sign face citations. Ignoring the registry or a posted sign is a violation of TRO §28-55: first offense written warning, then $100 to $500 per occurrence. Religious canvassers (Jehovah's Witnesses, LDS), political campaigners, and children's/nonprofit canvassing (Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, school fundraising) are constitutionally exempt and not bound by the registry under Watchtower Bible v. Village of Stratton (2002). In unincorporated Tulsa County there is no registry; posted 'No Trespassing' signs are enforced by TCSO under 21 OK Stat §1835 (trespass after notice) with misdemeanor penalties.
