Beaverton Municipal Code Section 8.07.380 requires swimming pools holding water over 24 inches deep to be properly maintained β water must not become green, brown, or black, and must not be stagnant or provide habitat for mosquitoes. Pool setbacks require at least 3 feet from side and rear lot lines and outside public utility easements.
Under BMC Section 8.07.380, swimming pools and special pools holding or capable of holding water exceeding 24 inches in depth must be maintained so water does not become green, brown, or black, and does not become stagnant or provide habitat for amphibians, mosquitoes, or other insect pests. BMC Section 8.05.060 requires no part of a swimming pool to be within 3 feet of a side or rear lot line or within a public utility easement. All pools must comply with BMC 8.05.005 through 8.05.100. Oregon Residential Specialty Code Appendix G also applies to pool safety standards.
