Sec. 23-24 entitles residential customers to set out up to three (3) cubic yards of bulk waste for collection at any one time, and up to two (2) cubic yards of construction and demolition debris per month. Bulk waste is collected on the yard-waste day provided the customer gives the hauler forty-eight (48) hours' notice. Customers may only set out bulk waste generated at their own dwelling and may not place it on property they do not own or occupy. Separately, yard trash is limited to four cubic yards per week and pieces no longer than 4 feet or 6 inches in diameter (Sec. 23-23).
Exceeding limits or improper set-out is a Ch. 23 violation enforced under Chapter 8βan uncontested first citation is a $150 reduced civil penalty ($300 repeat), with Special Master fines for continuing violations.
