Under Englewood Municipal Code Title 7, Chapter 1 (Animals and Fowl), all dogs and cats must be on a leash held by a person who is able to control the animal when off the owner's property. Dogs may be off-leash and under voice control at designated areas: Duncan Park, Jason Park, and the Northwest Greenbelt from 6-11 AM and 6-11 PM, and at the Canine Corral Sunday-Saturday 6-11 PM. Dogs must be leashed at all other times per Municipal Code 7-1A-3. Owners are responsible for immediately removing excrement deposited on any public or private property and disposing of it in a sanitary manner. All dogs and cats over 6 months must be vaccinated against rabies.
