Home cultivation is specifically prohibitedβUtah Code Β§58-37-8 makes growing cannabis a felony regardless of quantity or patient status. First offense of 1β100 plants is a 3rd-degree felony (up to 5 years prison + $5,000 fine); 101+ plants is 2nd-degree felony. Recreational cannabis remains fully illegal for adults.
