Multnomah County Commissioners have voted to ban the sale and use of ALL fireworks (including legal ground-based consumer devices) in unincorporated areas during periods of high fire risk. County bans typically cover forested areas in east county, the west hills, and Sauvie Island. Multnomah County Sheriff's deputies enforce and may seize illegal fireworks.
