Under Conroe's Code of Ordinances, all residential garage sales require a permit from the Permits Division of the Community Development Department. Applications must be emailed to permits@cityofconroe.org or delivered in person or by mail to 700 Metcalf St., Conroe, TX 77301. Each sale is limited to a maximum of 72 consecutive hours. Residents cannot hold more than one sale during any one-year period. The Permits Division operates Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM-5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.
