Aurora City Code §46-451 limits garage sale operating hours to 8 AM until dusk. Centennial, Littleton, and Englewood follow similar 8 AM to 6 PM or daylight-hours conventions. Most Arapahoe County residential neighborhoods experience garage sales Friday through Sunday during spring and fall. Unincorporated county has no specific hour restriction but general noise and nuisance rules apply. All merchandise, tables, racks, and displays must be removed from yards or placed out of sight by the end of daily sale hours. Items cannot be left at the curb between sale days or after the final sale day—this converts the property to a blight condition under Aurora §46-300 and similar city property maintenance codes. Signs advertising the sale must be removed within 24 hours of the sale concluding per Aurora §94-280 sign ordinance and Centennial MC §12-11. Off-premise signs (at intersections, utility poles, public right-of-way) are generally prohibited even during active sale hours.
