HOA dispute resolution follows Texas Property Code Chapter 209. TX Property Code Section 209.00593 requires POAs to offer alternative dispute resolution (ADR) before enforcement actions. ADR must be completed or declined before foreclosure or other enforcement. Dallas County has no role in mediating HOA disputes. Civil courts handle HOA-related lawsuits. The Texas Attorney General may investigate significant violations.
