Rogers has no blanket ban on parking a standard passenger vehicle on a public street overnight, but it does restrict larger trucks and trailers. Under Section 52-122, no truck, tractor, or trailer with a capacity of three-quarter ton or larger may be parked on any street between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Posted signs may impose additional time limits in certain zones.
Unlike many cities, Rogers does not impose a citywide overnight on-street parking prohibition on ordinary cars. The principal overnight restriction in the Rogers Code of Ordinances applies to heavier vehicles: Section 52-122 provides that no person shall park a truck, tractor, or trailer with a capacity of three-quarter ton or larger on any street between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., nor use any street to repair or recondition such a truck or trailer except in an emergency. Where the city posts signs, no person may park longer than the posted time period, and posted no-parking and loading zones are enforced with $5-$25 fines. Beyond these local rules, Arkansas state law still applies overnight: a vehicle left unattended near a public way for 24 hours or more can be treated as an unattended vehicle subject to removal under A.C.A. 27-50-1202. Drivers parking overnight should keep passenger vehicles legally at the curb, move them periodically, and keep larger trucks and trailers off the street during the restricted 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. window. Verify section numbers after the 2025-2026 recodification.
Parking a three-quarter-ton-or-larger truck, tractor, or trailer on a street between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. violates Section 52-122. Exceeding a posted time limit or parking in a posted no-parking zone draws a $5-$25 fine. Vehicles left near a public way for 24+ hours risk removal as unattended vehicles under Arkansas law.
