Centennial limits RV and trailer street parking to 48 hours at a time with at least 24 hours between parking periods. RVs must park in front of and on the same side of the street as the owner's home. A proposal to restrict RV parking on private property failed in 2019.
Centennial's 2017 parking ordinance limits RV and trailer parking on public streets to 48 hours at a time, with at least 24 hours required between parking periods. Under the ordinance, RVs must be parked in front of and on the same side of the street as the registered owner's home. The city council rejected a proposal in September 2019 that would have required off-street paved space for RVs and limited the percentage of yard area used for vehicle parking. As a result, RV parking on private property is primarily regulated by HOA covenants in covenant-controlled neighborhoods; the city has no citywide restriction on RV storage on private property. RVs may not be used as dwelling units in residential areas.
Exceeding 48-hour street limit: parking citation. Using RV as dwelling: code violation.
