NYC Traffic Rules Section 4-08(h) prohibits parking trailers, boats, or unattached semi-trailers on any street for more than 24 hours. Living in an RV parked on-street or in a driveway violates NYC Zoning Resolution residential use rules. Commercial vehicles over certain sizes prohibited overnight in residential zones.
