Carts (roll carts issued by the county) must be stored out of view from the public street between collection days β typically in a garage, behind the house, or behind a screen on the side yard. Placement at the curb is allowed no earlier than 6 PM the day before collection, and bins must be retrieved by 7 AM the day after. Cart lids must remain closed. Overflowing carts subject to pick-up refusal and potential citations. Yard waste collected separately in paper bags, bundles under 4 ft and 50 lbs, or in a designated cart. Bulky items collected by appointment. Hazardous waste prohibited from regular collection.
