Lakewood CO §715 charges $25 for 30-day permit. Shaker Heights requires permits through Police Department at $75. Cleveland Heights, South Euclid, and Parma have similar schemes. Religious, political, and charitable canvassing are exempt per Watchtower v. Stratton, 536 U.S. 150 (2002) which struck down similar Ohio ordinances. No-knock registries are maintained by many cities (see no-knock-rules). Enforcement is by local police on resident complaint.
