An adult 21 or older may possess an ounce or less and grow up to six plants for personal use at their primary residence, with no more than twelve plants at a residence where two or more adults live. Plants must be kept in a closet, room, greenhouse, or other enclosed area, secured against minors and not visible from public view without optical aids. Growing for unlicensed sale remains illegal.
Growing more than six plants per adult or twelve per household, or in an unsecured or publicly visible space, can bring penalties, and cultivating for unlicensed sale is a criminal offense.
