Unlawful entry during closed hours is an infraction under CCC Ordinance Code Chapter 1110-6 and EBRPD Ordinance 38, with fines up to $250 per Cal Public Resources Code Section 5008.3. Overnight camping is prohibited except in designated campgrounds with reservations. The prohibition covers walking, jogging, bicycling, picnicking, and vehicle occupancy. Certain lighted facilities such as tennis courts, ball fields, and trails may have extended hours posted. Sheriff's Office and EBRPD Police enforce the closure. Commercial photography, events, and organized gatherings of 50+ people require a special event permit.
