Little Elm's zoning ordinance and mobile vendor regulations designate where food trucks and mobile vendors may operate. Food trucks are permitted on private commercial property with written consent from the property owner, provided the location does not obstruct traffic flow, fire lanes, or required parking spaces. Vendors may not operate within public rights-of-way, on sidewalks, or in medians without express town approval. Residential zoning districts are generally off-limits for food truck vending except during town-sanctioned special events.
