Numeric decibel limits are municipal, not countywide. Pure-tone or impulsive sounds have limits reduced by 5 dB(A). Exceeding a limit is a noise disturbance.
Violation ticket $100; unpaid adds $25 for days 11–20. Summary conviction $100–$1,000 and/or up to 90 days imprisonment. Bureau of Health may order abatement within 30 days.
