Neither Hamilton County nor its cities ban leaf blowers, but hours are limited. Carmel allows lawn mowers, weed blowers and power tools only between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Fishers allows them 7 a.m.-10 p.m. (summer) or 7 a.m.-9 p.m. (winter).

No city imposes a gas-blower device ban.
Using equipment outside allowed hours is an infraction in Carmel (up to $250 first offense) and a Class C infraction in Fishers.
