Texas counties can't zone commercial-vehicle parking, so rules come from your city. Corpus Christi lets commercial vehicles use loading zones for up to 30 minutes between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. (except Sundays) and bars display, sale, washing or repair of vehicles on streets.
Unincorporated Nueces County has no zoning to restrict commercial vehicles on residential lots. In Corpus Christi, Code § 53-163 allows commercial vehicles to park in loading zones for up to 30 minutes between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., except Sundays. Section 53-147 bars stopping or parking a vehicle on a street principally to display it for sale, or to wash, grease or repair it (except emergency repairs). Heavier commercial vehicles are further restricted in the Packery Channel area lots (§ 53-177).
Overstaying a loading zone or using a street for vehicle sale/repair draws a Corpus Christi parking citation plus the $5 court cost under § 53-153.
