Clark County restricts oversized vehicles chiefly through its nuisance code: semi-trucks and truck tractors in urban residential front yards are prohibited, RVs may not be parked on county roads without a permit, and front-yard RV parking on unpaved surfaces is a nuisance.
There is no single county size-limit ordinance, but several CCC rules apply. CCC 9.24.010(2)(h) bars truck tractors and semi-trucks (per RCW 46.04.655/46.04.530) in urban residential front yards outside the driveway. CCC 9.24.010(2)(g) makes front-yard RV parking on pervious surfaces a nuisance. CCC 10.04.020(2)(b) makes it unlawful to 'Park any recreational vehicle on a county road for any amount of time, unless a permit has been issued ... or the recreational vehicle is parked for loading and unloading purposes only, for a maximum of twenty-four (24) hours.' Your city may impose additional length/weight limits.
Nuisance enforcement (front-yard/semi issues) and civil infraction with impoundment for unlawful on-road RV parking (CCC 10.04.020(7)).
