Fulshear residents must use the GFL-provided 95-gallon carts and place them at the curb by 7:00 AM on Wednesday collection day.
Under Ordinance 2023-1409 and the city's solid waste contract, GFL Environmental is the exclusive residential solid waste provider inside Fulshear city limits. Each household receives a 95-gallon trash cart (black with black lid) and a 95-gallon recycling cart (black with green lid). Carts must be placed at the curb by 7:00 AM Wednesday for collection between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Only the city-issued carts are serviced by automated trucks; unapproved containers will not be emptied. All city customers must pay for service whether or not they use it.
Setting out trash in unapproved containers, missing the 7:00 AM Wednesday placement deadline, using a non-contracted hauler inside city limits, or refusing service while occupying the property.
