The City of Fulshear has formally adopted the 2015 International Property Maintenance Code along with the suite of 2015 International Codes for Building, Residential, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Energy. The Code Compliance Division enforces standards covering housing condition, weeds, litter, illegal dumping, signs, and commercial property upkeep. Violators receive a written warning notice and an allotted period to correct the violation. Failure to comply leads to citations, fines, and possible municipal court action. The city handles complaints submitted online or by phone to the Code Compliance team.
Allowing structures to deteriorate, accumulating junk or debris visible from public view, illegal dumping, leaving inoperable vehicles outdoors, or ignoring a written compliance notice.
