Submit Information

Some of our pages cover topics where we have not yet been able to locate an official local ordinance. If you know the rule for your city, or where it's published, we'd love to hear from you.

How submissions work

1. You tell us below which city and topic your information covers, what the rule is, and where it's published. A link to the official municipal code or the relevant city department's website is especially helpful.
2. Our editorial team verifies the information against the primary source. We only publish rules we can quote word-for-word from an official source, with the exact section citation.
3. If we confirm the rule, we publish it on the relevant page and add a note to the Recent Changes feed.

We never publish unverified information. If we cannot confirm a rule from an official source, the page stays as-is: but we appreciate the pointer regardless.
