Noise complaints are grounds for permit investigation by the Department of Planning and Permitting (DPP). General noise prohibitions under ROH Ch. 41, Art. 6 (§ 41-6.1) also apply to all occupants. Fines for STRH violations start at $1,000 per violation, increasing to $10,000 per day for repeat violations.
Initial STRH violation: $1,000 fine plus $5,000 per day; repeat violation: $10,000 fine plus $10,000 per day. Permit revocation is possible.
