Short-term rental guests are subject to all Chapter 30 noise regulations, including the 58 dBA nighttime and 65 dBA daytime residential limits. STRs may not host special events or advertise as event venues under Ord. 2025-322. The operator's 24-hour emergency contact must respond to neighbor complaints. Two or more noise ordinance citations on separate occasions within 12 months may result in revocation of the STR Certificate of Registration. Operators bear responsibility for guest compliance.
