Indianapolis STR hosts must disclose parking in listings per Ch. 743. Off-street parking is required where available. Street parking follows Rev. Code Ch. 621 residential limits.
The Indianapolis STR ordinance (Ch. 743-106) requires hosts to disclose available parking (number of spaces, street vs. off-street) in the listing and in the guest welcome packet. Properties in the Regional Center and permit-parking zones must provide off-street parking for at least one guest vehicle. On-street parking is subject to Rev. Code Ch. 621, including 72-hour limits, no blocking sidewalks or fire hydrants, and permit-zone restrictions in Herron-Morton, Meridian-Kessler, and near IU Health. Blocking driveways or alleys is a tow-eligible violation.
Undisclosed parking conditions: $100 to $250 citation. Guest parking violations: standard Ch. 621 fines ($35 to $100) plus tow fees.
