Ordinance 2013-28 established the Landlord Registration and Residential Rental Property Inspection Program for the Broward Municipal Services District (unincorporated areas). Owner-occupied dwellings and properties occupied by family members with no net income are exempt. For short-term rentals (<30 days), a state DBPR vacation rental license is additionally required.
