Once operating, all advertising for any short-term rental must include the affidavit or zoning permit number assigned by the County, the number of County-approved bedrooms, the maximum occupancy, and the transient occupancy tax number. House policies must be included in every rental agreement, and for vacation rentals the owner and local contact information must be posted conspicuously inside the unit.
Failing to include required information in advertising, operate without an approved application on file, or keep contact information current is a violation of Section 17.88.230 and an infraction. Failing to respond to verifiable complaints within 60 minutes is also a violation. Repeated violations can support revocation of the permit or affidavit.
