Arapahoe County, CO Soliciting & Door-to-Door: Solicitor Permits (2026)

Commercial door-to-door solicitation in Arapahoe County cities requires a municipal permit. Aurora City Code §98-41 requires each solicitor to submit a completed application with photo ID, consent to background check (CBI and FBI), pay a non-refundable fee ($25 to $100), and carry a visible city-issued ID badge while canvassing. Solicitation permitted 9 AM to 8 PM or sunset, whichever earlier. Centennial Municipal Code §9-16 has similar requirements with a $50 fee and 9 AM to 9 PM window. Littleton Municipal Code §7-8-1 requires registration. Greenwood Village and Cherry Hills Village have stricter rules, with Cherry Hills Village effectively prohibiting most commercial solicitation.
