Abandoned Vehicles: Abandoned vehicles in Farmington Hills are handled under Michigan Vehicle Code MCL 257.252a, which treats a vehicle that has remained on public property for a period of not less than forty-eight hours as an abandoned vehicle subject to being taken into custody by a police agency.
