Washington County, OR Cannabis Regulations: Dispensary Zoning (2026)

Oregon recreational cannabis is regulated by the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) under ORS Chapter 475B. State law requires a minimum 1,000-foot buffer between dispensaries and primary or secondary schools (ORS 475B.096). Cities may opt out of allowing dispensaries via ordinance but must refer such bans to voters if passed after the 2015 implementation.
