Under § 28-258, a deputy who reasonably believes a minor is violating curfew must first warn the minor, request name, address and custodian contact information, and direct the minor home; only if the minor refuses to comply, won't identify themselves, or has already been warned that same night does the deputy take the minor to the sheriff's department in Covington or the nearest substation to be released to a custodian.
