Summary
Sonoma County Regional Parks close at hours the park authority sets and posts, and the park authority can also declare a separate juvenile curfew for any park area when conditions warrant it.
The park authority may, from time to time, by order, declare curfew for juveniles in any area of the park upon a finding that conditions therein are such as to warrant special measures for the protection of juveniles and others and for the safety and welfare of the general public. Such curfew order shall specify the hours thereof and the period therefor and shall be posted.

Full Breakdown
Under County Code § 20-22, the park authority may establish closing hours for any part of a Sonoma County Regional Park; once posted, no one may enter or remain there after closing except employees or those the park authority designates. Separately, § 20-21 lets the park authority declare a juvenile curfew in any park area upon finding conditions warrant special protective measures, with the order specifying hours and posted at the park. Juveniles may still be present if accompanied by a parent or guardian, supervised in a group of 15 or fewer per adult, or lawfully camping with on-file parental consent. This governs only county-run Regional Parks in unincorporated Sonoma County, not city parks in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, or the City of Sonoma.
Violations & Fines
Violating posted closing hours or a posted juvenile curfew order is a misdemeanor; park rangers and peace officers may issue a citation under § 20-35 instead of taking the person before a magistrate.
