Camden County, NJ Food Trucks & Mobile Vendors: Food Truck Permits (2026)

Article 4, Section 3(A) of the Camden County Park Regulations bars anyone from running a commercial enterprise, including offering services, soliciting, or selling food or beverages, on county park land except as provided by permit. Selling merchandise of any kind is 'specifically prohibited unless prior permission is obtained,' and that permission is limited to people who have obtained a vendor permit from the Camden County Parks Department. Even with a vendor permit, the sale must be tied to an approved or permitted recreational event; a stand-alone food-vending operation with no connected event does not qualify.

The permit itself is governed by the general conditions in Article 3, Section 1: the vendor must strictly follow the Regulations and New Jersey law, the County can revoke the permit for any violation, and revocation forfeits all fees the vendor already paid, with the vendor and any agents remaining liable for additional damages. Article 4, Section 3(B) adds a location rule on top of the permit requirement, confining vending to Department-approved spots and banning curbside sales outright. The Schedule of Fines in Article 6, Section 2 sets the penalty for vending without a permit at $500 (item 4-3(A)), the same $500 figure that applies to vending outside an approved area (item 4-3(B)), and each day a violation continues is a separate offense.
