Any vehicle or structure parked or placed wholly or partly within any county highway for the purpose of selling the vehicle or structure or any article, service, or thing from or in the vehicle or structure is a public nuisance. The sheriff may immediately remove such a vehicle or structure from within the highway.

County Code § 10-4000 declares any vehicle or structure parked or placed wholly or partly within a county highway for the purpose of selling anything from it a public nuisance, and lets the Sheriff remove it immediately. Section 10-4001 separately bars anyone from creating that nuisance, selling from it, or displaying goods for sale in or from a vehicle or stand placed in the roadway.

A violation is punishable by a fine up to $500 and/or up to 180 days in county jail, with each day of continued violation a separate offense (§ 10-4004).
