Camden County, NJ Food Trucks & Mobile Vendors: Vending Zones (2026)

Article 4, Section 3(B) of the Camden County Park Regulations draws a location line on top of the county's vendor-permit requirement: 'Vending of food in areas other than approved vending locations is specifically prohibited. ' That means a vendor who already holds the Article 4, Section 3(A) permit still can't set up wherever is convenient; the Camden County Parks Department designates specific approved vending spots within each park, and selling from a curb, roadside, or unapproved corner of the park is a separate violation from operating without a permit at all.

The two rules work together: Section 3(A) controls who may sell, permit holders tied to an approved recreational event, and Section 3(B) controls where they may sell, Department-approved locations only, never the curb. Article 6, Section 2's Schedule of Fines lists both violations separately at $500 each, item 4-3(A) for vending without a permit and item 4-3(B) for vending outside an approved area, so a vendor who holds a valid permit but sets up in the wrong spot is still fined $500 under the location rule.

General permit conditions in Article 3, Section 1 also apply to any vendor operating under a permit, including revocation and forfeiture of fees for any violation of the Regulations.
